The Nihilist Spasm Band
In true outsider fashion, The Nihilist Spasm Band (formed way back in 1965 and still going strong believe it or not) had no desire to learn to play traditional instruments – just listening to the tracks on this United Dairies release could tell you that. A natural love of awkward sound flows from their home-made musical contraptions as they take the Beefheartean stick and run with it in different directions like drunken mice… and I wouldn’t want it any other way…

Apparently the album title (7x~x=x) is a mathematical equation of an impossible object, which is really ironic, as with this band anything seems possible…
