Well... I've tried 3 times to do this post but Blogger has evaded me... Died or dying... So here's the edited lowlights... You can get the gist... I'm unsettled...

...this is now an ugly beast, though

... a character burned in the furnace of TV Pop hits... when she realised that it was never gonna get bigger (wider) than Love Your Money so she'd better believe it...
...unsettling to see because earnest blogging types like me like to think that they sort of still listen to music with that exact same intensity and sort of know that they don't anymore and no matter how many times we retroscend we're still feeling that lack while KJG...
...never gonna play Power Electronics when the babysitter comes around

...and we're still annoyed that we feel this way because, really, we ought to be moving on right now but damn it if these pesky kids still can't come up with anything unlistenable so we can just finally forget about it and go and listen to Coil...
...we know that something is wrong with the world when people like us are still hanging on at Festivals... still paying for new music... still accomodating...
...and maybe KJG is unsettling because she's showing us we're the problem all along when we thought we were the solution...
...did I mention I like the Ruby Throat stuff...
...all her stuff, actually...
...can't buy the t-shirt though
