my baggy period had gone by then I think, last time I saw the Happy Mondays must have been when they played Bristol in about 1989?
and anyway, that's a very expensive italian dress suit jerkin!! and you can just see by corner of the chair one of my cooler-than-thou red or dead bumper car shoes.... so that shows i was into designer gear n shit and that the student rags is just a mythos i was creating...
and you didn't know I was in Scritti Kek?!? you think i come to this blogging lark without at leats some postpunk credentials? - check the sleeves for 'spoon player No.2' and 'background weeper' and then apologise immediately
I think that's my "Psychocandy" tape on the table there. Who'd have thought we'd now live in homes with six types of vinegar and mint frowing in the kitchen. Did we have a kitchen at that place ?
hey, Kemper... this was the good house with a proper kitchen n everything, definitely a step up from the first pit... if I remember rightly it had various crap Psychedelic pics all over the walls etc... three spray painted dummy heads nailed to the walls.... various odd portraits and Brion Gysin photocopies plus an excellent Alex Grey calender which I wished I kept...
oh and a huge psychedelic sheet with Nuclear War Now written all over it...
Nah, she's coming to Taunton this weekend I think so I can swap Geography facts with her then... though I get the distinct impression that Mrs Loki has conspired to send me off to the Peat Moors Centre for the Barbarians and Storytelling event instead... I think that's this week..
