A Moral Question

Is it wrong to get some simple pleasure out of reading stuff like this?

No, of course not.

But what, I have to ask, is "a PJ Harvey context"...personality-free Punk-Blues done 15 years too late and championed by other clueless fake-feminist chick-rockers, perhaps...?

The idea of a PJ Harvey forum was pretty hilarious in itself. Come back Suzi Quatro, all is forgiven.

Wow, disinformation and black propaganda. If this doesn't get you membership of the Kid Shirt Sci-Fi Spy Adventure Club, I don't know what will.

No, it's awesomely great. Some people almost bought that Iron Butterfly piece I did as well which had me cackling for days.

almost bought it?!? i totally bought it...and bought every album they did as a result... you bugger! i mean you'd expect that kind of thing on a nasty little shitstirring blog like this but on Uncarved? It's like reality itself is beginning to cave in...

can i go back to not liking them at all now?

C'mon, Loki...Iron Butterfly: what's not to like?

you're both right... i can't escape them now, the crazy chorus mumbling fools! Iron Butterfly - like a butterfly that's supposed to be really, like, warm and floaty and light but this one's made of, like, iron and that's, like, reallly heavy and practically Burroughsian in a cold blast of iron way and hard like that song about midwinter being bleak and yet you don't see butterflies in midwinter really, except in Mad Uncles cages, behind velvety pins...

velvety pins? now pins are supposed to be...

it's okay.... i'm back in the zone... Iron Butterfly rock! whatever was i thinking?
