MP3's you say? ...Nah, not round 'ere guvnor...

Ain't the internet great? You can get a picture of a dancing cat or a fat kid with a lightsabre in your email pretty much everyday.....visual delights galore!

If you do like that kinda stuff go here, or maybe even here (especially if you like that kinda stuff in dutch), but I thought I'd post something for those who ticked 'visual learner' in their preferred learning styles questionnaire i.e. for those who liked colouring, doodling and that lovely smell that eminates from the underside of the paper sleeves on crayola crayons.

So, yet again, no MP3's here I'm afraid. That's what Loki gets when he invites a load of his mates over and none of 'em brings any records with 'em. Still, there's load of groovy little soundtracks coming up. One of them even features a bit of Coil.

I hope you've got speakers and broadband, but then, if you haven't , what are you doing on an MP3 blog anyway?

So, come and have a butchers at my selection of visual splendours from around the web:

Tobias Schalken - ghostly figures wandering in and out of the screen, a girl with a disturbing arm, a carpet that looks like a penis - you can see why I'm struggling for adjectives here.

Polite Winter - A weird little tale, lovingly embellished. Remember that 'Arkham Asylum' that Grant Morrison and Dave McKean did years ago? A bit like that (but without Batman in it), a bit Peter Greenaway, a bit away with the faeries, as my wife would say.....

Conclave Obscurum - a bit 'House of Leaves', a bit 'Gormenghast Trilogy'....scratchy and weird...

Scarabin - You know when the weird gothy guys used to scrawl on their rough book in Geography? This has gone way deeper than that.....

Ray Caesar - Doll-like women in curious poses...often with distorted heads....so, if like, that's your thing....

Sober Insanity - I never read this - I can't stand the font - but the best blog intro ever....

Creatures in my head - 'nuff said really

Adrian Lafond - is rather fond of bugs.....centipedes, bright-eyed bugs, X-Ray bugs and...erhm....bugs that ineffectually attempt to screw their way through sheet metal.....nice.

Flip Flop Flyin' - My son and I are rather fond of 'Dave with one long arm' - surely the pinnacle of Beano / Viz style 'his schtick is a physical deformity' comic strips, but please do look at Orbital in the minipops as well.

Peter Stanick - There is no way of disguising that this site consists mainly of pictures of well-proportioned, scantily clad maidens posing with various domestic appliances - but maybe the cracking soundtrack and offbeat humour will allow you to pass off any interest as 'postmodern and ironic' - especially if you are already getting away with this with regard to the work of Russ Meyer.

The Man Who Fell Asleep - Dr Dre answers your problems, conspiracy theories about Noel Edmonds, more people with unfeasibly large heads - a cabinet of wonders.

Tokyoplastic - What is this site for? - I don't know - I've never got past the most magnificent website navigation system I have ever seen.

Comounaseta - Again, what's it for? Appears to be one of those sites that exist purely to be slicker than a fireman's pole....

And lastly....you thought I'd forgotten those crayola crayons didn't you?...... Now this is surely what the internet was made for.....
