Tone Vale

Not-Kek's perhaps non-canonical comment somewhere below made me think of here... I think I might do a tour of derelict insane asylums for next years holidays...

Actually, reading the comments below all the pictures reads like a slowly unfolding horror story and I feel a bit guilty about all the vicious jokes that used to roll around school about this place...

Still "E's gone up the Vale in e? Like a ship without a sail..."

Nothing non-canonical about me comment, Sax; you know I can't stand Nick Cave. He's a nothing; a non-talent; the emperor's non-clothing. And, no, he doesn't look like me mum or dad.

If you want to psychoanalyse me (or any other methodology) by email and joint=publish the results, then be my guest lol.

My Dad went into Tone Vale - I think when his own father died. The phrase "Tome vale" - as you knw - had a certain resonance around Yeovil back in my yoof. You've got me curious about what it looks like now. If my bike wasn't in the garage I'd scott down and have a look.

"Tome Vale" lol.

That's where us writers end up.

Tome Vale takes the written version of creeping madness, while Tone swallows the auditory one... Test Tone Vale is an album title I've been considering since school...

Oh, nostalgia. I used to live up the road and cycle past it to work every day. I also drank with a couple of the male nurses from there. Was down there a couple of years back and couldn't believe what had happened to it.

There was also the one in Sherborne...Coldharbour...??

That fell into disrepair a few years back; didn't someone try to stage a rave there?
