Bjork / Kaito

Bjork is an Icelandic singer who started off in a band called Kukl when she was about 3 then formed skewed pop-group The Sugarcubes before gaining dinner party... Oh, you've already heard of her. Dang if I'm behind the scene again...

Here's 2 of her tracks in their icelandic versions:

The Sugarcubes - Birthday (icelandic version)

Bjork - All is Full of Love (icelandic version)

Completely unrelated and perhaps uneccessary are Kaito.

Kaito are another in the line of shouty girl punk-populist bands who sometimes get a bit Erase Errata, occasionally a little Huggy Bear and often end up like the brattier younger sisters of Sleater-Kinney.

At times, they descend to Wolf Eyes.

But not often.

Anamoy - Mmm...Voodoo Queens!

Should I Go grrl go!

Think Twice (demo) - descending to Wolf Eyes...

Catnap (very lo-fi) - good but bad.
